Following the epic 11.3 patch, the league balance team has taken a step back from the long changelog. Instead, the Riot developers are now taking a close look at the jungle, which, in their opinion, is “affecting the game too much.”

On top of that, the LoL team is taking another hit with Season 11’s best healing items like the Moonstone Renewer, a core part of the Moonstone Staff combo   .

A number of champions will also be weakened, including Samira – Riot is looking to “weaken” the controversial ADC , Camilla, Skarner and pro players like Renekton and Kai’Sa.

Here are all the details about League of Legends patch 11.4 coming out.

When is League of Legends patch 11.4 coming out?

League of Legends Season 11’s next update is expected on Thursday, February 18th. Players can expect several hours of downtime. Matchmaking and access to league servers will be disabled three hours before the new patch is installed. Changes in patch 11.4 LoL

Samira is weakened through nerfs

Since the release of patch 10.19, Desert Rose has been the leader on the botlane, her explosive damage being uncommon among ADC champions.

Due to her unique playstyle, Samira was not easy to balance for the League development team; it has had a positive win rate since release, even with a whopping 15.38% pick. Worse, in the eyes of Riot, it got banned in 47.46% of all single queue games.

To counteract its influence, the LoL developers have weakened it a bit. These nerfs should “reveal some of the weaknesses” of the ADC. There is also hope that the decline in the number will “take away the tools” to counter it.

Riot removes “impact” with forest changes

Now that we’re on a few patches in Season 11, the league balancing team has taken another look at the junglers and how much power they’ll have in the game in 2021.

“One set of changes we’re working on for 11.4 is some weakening for the forest,” Yetter explained. “This should reduce the capacity of the forest until the 10th season. Currently, this position has too much impact on the game”

The Thunder, Circle, and Razorbeak camps will require more effort to kill, Yetter confirmed, and will yield less gold and experience. This is to keep the jungle experience a little hidden.

These changes will mainly affect junglers like Graves and Nidalee, who have almost undeniably ruled the Rift since the start of Season 11. The nerfs also mean that Riot can combine “multiple buffs” in 11.4 without fear of “losing power.
